Asthma

We are currently conducting a research study to evaluate the effect of an experimental medication in adults with asthma whose symptoms worsen when experiencing cold symptoms. After subjects have signed consent, there will be a 90-day period in which the subject has to experience cold symptoms. Once the subject has onset symptoms, they will contact our office, and at that point we will begin study procedures. There will be approximately 6 visits over 4 weeks. Qualified participants will receive study medication or placebo, study-related testing, physical exams, and lab work at no charge. Compensation may be available to qualified participants for each completed visit (for time and travel).

If you are interested you should:

  • Be between the ages of 18-70 years old
  • Diagnosed with asthma at least 2 years prior to screening
  • History of asthma symptoms worsening with colds

If you would like to learn more about our current studies please call us at 614-487-2560. One of our staff members will give you more details regarding the study visits and procedures. If you are interested after speaking with us, we will schedule an appointment to meet with our physician to see if you qualify for the study.
